How to make a bootable pen drive

In this post i will show you how to make a pen drive bootable  or   how to install win8 or vista operating systems using a flash drive or a  pen drive without using the original DVD.  This  Process requires a few steps and very easy. Kindly do not make any mistakes while you give commands, will may damage the file system of your Flash Drive or Pen Drive. This method will lots of your time as installation media used is much more quicker than the disk. It will reduce your time to 20 percent as it use to take earlier using a installation media. This  is not a permanent procedure. Unless you work out all the commands, the process won't work. Even copying contents to another USB won't make the latter to boot. The  process is very important. 

Things needed to do this

• Any 4GB pen drive
• Installation media or iso image of it

Steps in detail:

1.Connect the USB and take command prompt from start menu (or by typing cmd in run window)

2.type diskpart in cmd.

3.now new window will pop up named diskpart in that type list disk

4.type select disk 2 (since it is the pen drive that we want to make bootable)

5.type clean

6. type create partition primary

7.type select partition 1

8.type active

9.type format fs=fat32

10.type assign

11.type exit

After the format is complete, put in your original installation DVD in your DVD drive, or if you have an .iso image of the DVD, mount that image using any virtual drive software like Power ISO,or extract iso image to this pen drive.
Now paste all the contents in iso image to this pen drive


When the copy finishes, you are done just remove the USB Drive safely and use it to install Windows 8 in your computer/laptop.
